11th grade Putnam student Jacob Amaro’s mom tells us art has always been her son’s passion. His painting will now hang in the Capitol building for the 2nd time in 2-years. Way to go Jacob!

Local organization to provide prom dresses for Springfield high school students Every young woman graduating from Springfield's Putnam Vocational-Technical Academy in June will hopefully have a formal dress for the prom, thanks to the efforts of a program called 'Say Yes to the Prom Dress.'
