🐅 And just like that… we’re back! 🐅

It was so awesome to see our halls buzzing with smiles, laughter, and excitement as our 6th grade students had their first day of middle school! A huge WELCOME to our newest Briggs Tigers! We are thrilled to have you as part of our school community, and we hope this year is filled with personal growth, academic successes, new friendships, and amazing memories!

A massive shoutout to our incredible 8th grade WEB Leaders and WEB staff members for making the first day of 6th grade fun, thoughtful, and hopefully a little less scary for our newest Tigers! You helped make their first day one to remember.

We can’t wait to welcome our 7th and 8th graders back tomorrow morning! Let’s make this an amazing school year—we’ve got this, Tigers! 🐅✨

Briggs volleyball families-Please read the following update from Willamalane regarding this fall’s schedule/changes. Thank you in advance for your patience with our district as we work around these structural improvements! It shouldn’t take too long once it’s underway!

Middle school volleyball update🏐‼️
Registration for fall middle school volleyball opens Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 8 a.m., with an adjusted practice schedule for Thurston Middle School and Briggs Middle School because of essential construction at SPS. Agnes Stewart Middle School and Hamlin Middle School - Springfield, OR will have no impacts from construction.

K–12 students enrolled in Springfield Public Schools are invited to Project Hope—a one-day event where they can pick up new shoes, socks, backpacks, and school supplies to get ready for the school year!

Only students enrolled in Springfield K–12 schools are eligible. Unfortunately, supplies and shoe sizes are not available for pre-K students.

• Ticket reservations begin Monday, August 24 at 7 a.m.
• Reserve tickets at: https://tinyurl.com/PH-SPFD-26
• Multiple appointment times are available, so you can choose what works best for your schedule.
• Every student must have a ticket and be present at the event to receive supplies.

• Giveaway will be held Saturday, August 29 from 1-5 p.m.
• Maple Elementary School, 2019 J Street

Download ParentVUE (New) with the solid purple logo. The current app with the multicolored logo will no longer work for SPS.

ParentVUE, StudentVUE and Online Registration and Review will be unavailable Aug. 2 during a system upgrade.
