We’ve been getting crafty in music therapy this week making guitars and egg shakers!
We worked on making a plan and following it through- patience, direction following, fine motor skills, and creativity! Bonus- an instrument to take home!

Is there anything better than music therapy outside?? oh yes! An impromptu drum circle on the playground! We are not just working on rhythm, impulse control, and direction following, but social skills like cooperation and sharing!

COMMUNICATION is the name of the game! One of my favorite goals to work on is building language. Whether it’s through ASL, Pecs, or words! “Talk to Me” is a great intervention to get to know each other and build conversational skills!
