Due to Wednesday’s dangerous heat index, Lincoln Land Community College Women's Soccer match against Triton College has been moved indoors to Scheels Sports Park at Legacy Pointe, 3751 Imagineer Dr., Springfield.
Kickoff is set for 6:15 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free. The game will be the first soccer match hosted inside the facility, come cheer on the Loggers and witness a first for Springfield soccer! ⚽

Bistro Verde returns Sept. 8 at LLCC. Join us Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. as our student chefs serve fresh soups, salads, sandwiches, baked goods and weekly specials.
The café will be open as Bistro To Go, a counter service concept, from Sept. 8-Oct. 8. A special Chicago Gourmet Dine Around menu will be available Sept. 8-18. Then, from Oct. 27-Dec. 3, Bistro Verde becomes a full-service dine-in restaurant featuring scratch-made lunches and student chef creations.

Congratulations to Jaclyn Tabor, Ph.D. on earning Instructure's 2026 Outstanding Course Award. Her online Introduction to Sociology course was recognized for innovative design, accessibility and inclusive learning practices that help students succeed. We're proud to celebrate this national recognition and her commitment to student-centered learning.

Lincoln Land Community College has received a $10,000 grant from the Modern Language Association to help students connect humanities coursework with career-ready skills. LLCC was the only community college selected for this distinction during the current grant cycle.
Through the project, students will strengthen critical thinking, communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills through hands-on research projects and a community research symposium.

Visit the Trutter Museum & Murray Gallery at LLCC Aug. 24-Sept. 18 for “House Rules,” an engaging exhibit by artist Danny Houk featuring sculptures, installations, games and mixed media works that blend humor with thoughtful social commentary.
Join us for an artist discussion with light refreshments on Sept. 16 from 5-7 p.m. in the museum/gallery, located on the upper level of Menard Hall on the LLCC Springfield campus.
