What a way to close out Teacher Appreciation Week!
On Friday, May 8th, our talented students took the stage and performed selections from the hit musical Hamilton for our incredible teachers and staff. Their energy, confidence, and hard work made for a memorable celebration filled with music, creativity, and appreciation.

Community Event Alert!

The World’s Largest Pancake Breakfast, sponsored by MGM Springfield, will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 8AM to 11AM on Main Street in Downtown Springfield.

Breakfast, featuring pancakes, bacon, coffee, juice, milk, and water, will be $3 for adults and children are $1.

Participants who complete the family-friendly Step Up Fitness Challenge will receive FREE running sneakers courtesy of Fleet Feet!
All fitness levels are welcome, so come ready to move, have fun, and take a step toward wellness together.

Last week (April 27th - May 1st) in honor of EL Education's Better World Week Baystate Academy students from grades 7, 9, and 11 showcased their Collaboration and engineering skills with a focus on Wellness as they worked to expand the Baystate Community Garden and get it ready for planting.

Thanks to Choose and Mr. Sneed we have 9 additional garden beds to grow fresh vegetables, herbs, and some berries too! You may have also noticed some new pops of color out front too. Students planted flowers among the already existing greenery to represent the color and life that we have here in our school community.
If you are interested in supporting the Baystate Garden, with time, energy or donations feel free to reach out!
Our harvest will go right into the hands of our school community so get a little dirty and enjoy the fresh produce
