We had a van FULL of STATE QUALIFIERS yesterday at regions for meats and livestock evaluation!!!
🐖Livestock- Mavri Winkelmann, Brooklynn Senst, Brooklyn Anderson, and Lydia Vogel took 6th as a team- qualifying then for state
🥩Meats- Amelia Davis, Lexi Walter, and Noah Bredeson took 7th as a team- also qualifying for state
🐖Mavri took 8th out of 85 as an individual in Livestock
🥩Noah took 13th out of 46 as an individual in Meats

🗓️Both teams with go on to compete at state convention in April!

🌽CORN DRIVE🌽
🚨Due to MEA break, our drivers will not be out accepting donations as long as we had hoped. Because of this, Farmward coop is accepting donations by contacting them or at the scale Wednesday Oct. 14th-Friday Oct. 16th. 🚨
🛻Our drivers will be out on the 14th from 10:30am to around 3pm, taking donations and handing out snack bags and waters.
🧩Check and grain donations accepted. Proceeds go to True Friends Camp Courage.

UMN Fall Invite!
▪️Livestock and Dairy judging teams attended
🥈Mavri Winkelmann took SECOND out of 288 individuals in Livestock evaluation!! Congrats Mavri!
🐖Livestock team- Brooke Anderson, Brooklyn Senst, Brooklyn Anderson, and Mavri Winkelmann- took 22nd out of 53 teams from across the state
🐄Isabel Gartner represented Springfield FFA as a team of 1 in Dairy Judging!
❗️This was Brooklyn Senst’s first contest ever!

➡️Next on the calendar is Horse Judging regions on Thursday and Meats and Livestock regions on Monday

🥇Erik Davis took 1st individually at both meets with a perfect round in Marshall!
⭐️ Erik Davis, Amelia Davis, Makay Winkelmann, and Noah Bredeson took 13th at Marshall
⭐️ Erik, Amelia, and Noah also took 8th at Mountain Lake
⭐️ Blake Zihlke, Korbin Imker, and Brody Jensen took 23rd at Mountain Lake

We also had some fun shooting sporting clays in Marshall!

13 up and coming FFA members attended to learn about the endless opportunities our organization has to offer!

Our officer team had a blast at the workshop, where they planned for the year through fun activities with prizes!

And of course, we ended our day with ice cream!
