Today is the beginning of Teachers Appreciation Week. Thank your teachers. They are knee deep with our kids every day for HOURS. Remember that family vacation everyone wanted separate rooms by the end of the 6 hour car ride? They are around day 160 of 6.5 hours a day. That’s over 1000 hours with our kids in a school year.

Give them a Grab a Java gift card, Target, Amazon. Tell them thank you. Write them an email of thanks.

Remember, this is a thankless job where the pay isn’t enough but they show up EVERY DAY anyway. It’s a calling but it’s also a choice. Every day they choose to be with our kids.

Most probably aren’t aware, much of what we do comes out of own pockets since we don’t have many funds raised yet. (Or the Admin team’s pockets.) There’s no extra money just yet, since PTO just started fundraising this year. Literally every $5 donation helps. So thank you again, MM!!

Last minute update! Another activity for this evening. SHS activity night is tonight 4/22 starting at 6pm in the SHS Commons for any incoming SHS students.

While there is a specific activity for football this is an event for ALL sports and clubs at SHS.
