Sci-Tech is implementing a comprehensive plan to address elevator service disruptions, and to ensure that all school services, programs, and activities are accessible to and usable by individuals with disabilities. Every spring, students in US History II participate in a Civics Project showcase, where they identify a need in their community, and taking action to solve and address that need, and present their project at this showcase. Yesterday, we had the opportunity to celebrate one of student groups’ being recognized and receiving a Commendation by the State for their civics project. To be among 40 projects to be recognized across the state, is no small feat, with 84 projects from Western Mass alone. We are incredibly proud of their work and congratulate them on their Commendation! Congratulations Yadiel Bermudez, Genesis Esteban Bravo, and Yadiel Bermudez!

Today, we were excited to welcome our incoming 9th grade students as they explored the many opportunities available at our school! Students toured a variety of pathways and programs, including Career & Technical Education (CTE), NJROTC, Band, Athletics, and academic departments across the building.

A special thank you to our student leaders who guided the tours and shared their experiences, including members of our SkillsUSA team, Band leaders, and NJROTC cadets. Their enthusiasm, leadership, and pride in our school helped give future students a firsthand look at what makes our community so special.

We can’t wait to see these future freshmen join us and begin their own journey this fall!
