Homeschool families!!! Have you heard about the co-lab at Lincoln Library, The Public Library of Springfield, IL!!!!

I can’t wait to take advantage of instruction for hands on tech skills like using the 3D printer, circut, sewing machine, professional engraver/wood cutting, and all the things!!!

In an effort to be transparent, I love to share how every penny went to the students, families,and staff. The books have been reconciled, all taxes accounted for, and all bills paid! Keep in mind my personal income was covered by generous donations by two families and another job! Thank you to anyone who supported this effort this year! I see you! 🙌🙌

It has been my heart to support single moms, single income families, and multi-child homes in an affordable and community based way! Homeschool is not accessible or functional in every circumstance, but it should be. 💯

We gave almost $30,000 in discounts last year!!!! Y’all, God knows what he is doing!👏👏👏👏

Here’s to another year of supporting homeschool families with a heart so intentional and purposed for this calling!

Whatever homeschool looks like, do it with consistency.

I fully believe learning can look a lot of different ways, and be tailored to every child. Believe it or not, I have a child who hates art and another who thrives in it. I have one who would rather read than do math, and another who loves math. Both prefer very different learning structures. Then another who would just rather boss up with no training at all. But let’s face it, leaders must first follow.

Whatever your experience is, consistency matters. Built into every professional lesson plan is intentionality to connect prior knowledge and to build on top of it. Consistent and intentional to meet the goal.

This year I pray for an outpouring of wisdom and strength to be a steady hand for our youth! I declare world changers to be raised up with a mind of Christ! Lord Jesus, give provision to the parents this year to meet every need and goal set before them! Allow grace where needed and supernatural peace in times of frustration. Lord Jesus, keep us homeschool mommas another year! In Jesus name.

Tip: Alternate days to incorporate more independent practice and less teacher driven modeling. This allows consistency, connection to prior knowledge, long term retention, and less commitment.
