After 8 years , today was the last day of our little daycare.
Bittersweet, for certain.
Thank you to all of the families who have been a part of our lives during that time. You have been friends, and your children have been like my own children for as long as I had the privilege to be in their lives- all brothers, and sisters to my son.
We love you all, and will miss you❤️

A few things to keep in mind this ! 🎃👻
If you happen to see a not-so-typical trick-or-treater this Halloween, don’t be so quick to pass judgement.
You might have a little zombie, princess, or vampire show up on your doorstep who has special needs. 🧩
Please be accepting, patient, and kind to each of your trick-or-treaters!

In AMI 0-3 Assistant training, our trainer told us to think of the child as the grey circle in the centre. We CANNOT control or effect the centre.
The outer circle is the Environment. We CAN control the environment, by preparing a beautiful, inviting environment that will effect the child.
There are many magical experiences we CAN give the young child at home... From music, art, geography, culture, family celebrations and rhythms, to the gift of yourself, the imperfect prepared adult.
We must let go of that which we CANNOT control, and focus our energies on that which we CAN control.
And truly, we are not powerless.
Whether you live with in-laws or only have weekends to try things out..
Whether you’re completely new or an experienced parent wanting to add beauty and depth to your Montessori home…
✨You are your child’s parent, so you are best placed to deeply know+support your child’s growth.
No matter who you are, I believe the size of your budget or home cannot measure up to the size of your heart for your child.
