The White Ribbon Award also came with a $100 donation from Springfield Council PTA that will go directly back to supporting our school and students! 🎉
A huge thank you to our PTA Board for the countless hours spent planning, organizing, problem-solving, and keeping everything running smoothly all year long. None of this would have been possible without your teamwork and commitment.
Special thanks to our past Treasurer, Alix Gilbert, for keeping track of memberships, dues, payments, and deadlines so carefully throughout the year. Your hard work behind the scenes helped make these accomplishments possible!
We also want to recognize and thank the volunteers who gave their time at the PTA Clothing Bank to help support SPS students and families in need. Your compassion and service helped us earn the Golden Thread Award and made a meaningful impact in our community.

Semester 2 POD Party La Plata won the second semester POD Party, and we need your help to make this celebration a success! On Friday, May 15th from 12:45-2:15 we will need volunteers to work multiple stations at this well earned celebration. Please sign-up if you are able to help! Thank you!
Disney Elementary School has a large lost and found table right now as of May 14th.
Have your student look it over and take their items home before the end of school next week or it will likely get donated to the PTA Clothing Bank.

The Disney Elementary PTA is excited to offer convenient pre-packaged school supply boxes for the 2026–2027 school year!
Each box includes the teacher-requested supplies for your student’s grade level and will be delivered directly to the school — ready and waiting for Meet the Teacher event in August. ✅
Ordering a supply box is completely optional, but it’s an easy way to save time and make sure your student is prepared for the first day of school!
The online store also offers additional optional items for purchase including:

⭐ And more!

There is also an option to donate toward school supplies for families who may need assistance.
Families who qualify for the free lunch program that may need help with school supplies are encouraged to contact the school office no later than May 22nd so we can begin gathering interest and determining needs for available sponsored boxes. We are still finalizing how sponsored boxes will be distributed and there will be a limited number. We appreciate your patience as details are worked out. More information will be provided once we receive the numbers.
