This past week, incoming and returning associate degree nurses (RNs) and practical nurses (LPNs) took part in the annual LLCC nursing bootcamp to get ready for the upcoming semester. The event focused on essential skills that are helpful in both the classroom and clinical practice. Each day focused on content based around the semester the students will be entering.

We appreciate the healthcare organizations Springfield Clinic, SIU School of Medicine, and OSF Healthcare for their "lunch and learn" presentations, as well as the dedicated nurses from our local hospitals and clinics who volunteered their time to mentor these students.
