The Rutherford High School Marching Band "The Pride"

10/01/2026

Last nights rehearsal at the "Rodney Dassinger Rehearsal Hall" was special. Seeing old friends we haven't seen in decades since we were teenagers. Memories of the tireless hours of practice to achieve the results we wanted of creating amazing music. Walking down the Hall of Champions where the trophies and awards from decades of accomplishment is surreal. If you have signed up and were not able to make it to rehearsal we will see you tonight. If you have not signed up it is still not too late to do so! Even if you do not wish to play come. Everyone......is welcome!

OK so here we are just a couple of days away from Homecoming 2026 and "The Gathering of The Pride" We have quite a few first time attendees that are excited about seeing the Current Edition of The Pride and playing along side the band.
November 30th 3:30pm The Pride will be running thru their show and we encourage you to come out and watch before practice at 6pm in the Rutherford Bandroom. Realizing some are coming from out of town or working we will conduct practice with whoever is able to attend.
Thursday October 1st 5:30pm we will meet at the Stadium to warm up and tune. The Pride will be performing their show before the game for us since homecoming ceremonies will be going on at halftime. I have sent music to everyone signed up digitally and will have music at rehearsal. Old eyes need glasses and light headlamps work well in the dimly lit stadium! I look forward to seeing you all there!
Attire: Please wear a Black or Gold top to the game.
