What a wonderful start to our school year for the 5th–7th-grade students!

The first few weeks have been filled with fresh air, muddy boots, curious minds, and plenty of opportunities to explore and learn. We've been getting to know our outdoor space, building confidence in ourselves, creating lasting friendships, learning how to care for nature, and, most importantly, figuring out how learning can take place anywhere.

From reading, writing, grammar, analyzing the segments of a worm, and understanding prime numbers and factorizations to climbing, creating, working together, and discovering—every day brings a new adventure. We're so excited to see where the rest of the year takes us.

Here's to many more muddy, magical moments outdoors!

Our elementary crew has been busy growing together!

We’ve been building our classroom community through social-emotional stories and conversations about kindness, managing emotions, believing in ourselves, and building friendships. We’re already seeing some sweet friendships bloom!

Science has taken us outdoors as we learned what it means to be a scientist and explored the world through the eyes of geologists, observing and classifying different types of rocks. We’ve also been learning about animal life cycles and getting up close with the tiny creatures we find in our woods—including using our digital microscope to investigate insects!

Math has been just as hands-on! Our students created their very own number stones that they’ll use throughout the year while practicing counting, place value, skip counting, and reading and writing numbers.

Our first weeks have been full of curiosity, teamwork, problem-solving, and plenty of outdoor exploration. We may be tired at the end of the day, but it’s definitely the best kind of tired!

We can’t wait to see where our learning takes us next!

🌿✏️ Our Kindergarten Learning Adventure Has Begun! 🍎📚

What a wonderful start to kindergarten! There is something so incredibly special about watching kindergarteners make friends. In just a few short days, little strangers become playmates, lunch buddies, helpers, and sometimes the very best of friends 💚

Our little learners have been busy discovering their very first letters and numbers of the year!
This week, we’re learning all about the letters A and M — practicing their sounds, recognizing them in words, and finding fun ways to build and write them!

We’re also diving into the numbers 0, 1, and 2! 🔢 Our friends are practicing counting, recognizing numbers, and exploring what these numbers look like in the world around us.

We are so proud of the curiosity, excitement, and confidence our kindergarteners are already showing. 🥹🌱

A is for adventure. M is for making memories. And 0, 1, 2 is just the beginning! 💚✨

Here’s to a year full of learning, growing, exploring, and wondering! 🌲📖🍎

Our preschoolers have been busy learning, exploring, and growing together! 💚

We’ve started our Related Arts adventures with Ag Science, Music, and Art, giving our little learners even more opportunities to discover new interests and express their creativity.

We’re also working hard on recognizing our names, enjoying lots of stories, building early literacy skills, and exploring the world around us.

So much learning happens when little hands are busy, little minds are curious, and we have the freedom to explore! We are loving watching this group grow more confident and connected each day.

We can't believe our first week has already come and gone! We had so much fun learning, getting to know our new friends, and exploring the property. Take a look at all the cool things our students did last week!

We believe our first stray has found us and claimed her stake. She has been hanging around consistently every day for a week now. Meet our sweet “Pearl Girl.”

Of course, we love her already and want to keep her around! We just need to be sure she isn’t someone’s baby before we take her to the vet for shots and being spayed.

Please share in hopes of finding the rightful owner of “Pearl,” shall there be one 🐱💕

Tonight, make sure to lay out those muddy shoes, pack the water bottle, a healthy lunch, and get ready for a year full of wonder. We’ve got our wagons packed tight and exciting adventures planned.

Tomorrow won’t be filled with perfectly sharpened pencils or white board lessons. Instead, it will be filled with birdsongs instead of bells, sticks that become magic wands, puddles begging to be explored, and hands discovering just how amazing the world can be.

There will be muddy pants, pockets full of rocks and treasures, nervous smiles, happy tears, and lots of new friendships waiting to bloom.

Sleep well, little explorers. Tomorrow, we will be waiting for you!

See you in the morning!
