Hypnotism is a growing field that includes the healing arts of medical and therapeutic applications, habit control such as weight reduction, smoking cessation, stress reduction, and personal self-improvement. Hypnotism also includes ethical and professional entertainment. Students of the Mitchell Institute of Professional Hypnosis receive certification and training that leaves them prepared for a career in hypnosis.

William Mitchell M.Div., B*H ,CI is a seminary trained pastor, hypnotherapist, hypnosis instructor, and former adjunct faculty at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine serving on the Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Panel. With successful clinics in Illinois, he has helped thousands of clients lose weight and stop smoking since 2003. William is also a popular comedy stage hypnotist that focuses on clean and ethical shows.
