Our Xcel Gold team took on the State Meet over the weekend and they did not just show up—they showed OUT! 💛 These girls put their heart and soul into every single routine.

Behind every medal, every high-five, and every podium moment are hundreds of hours of work, yards of athletic tape, and "just one more" reps in the gym. State is where all that hard work meets the mat, and we couldn't be prouder of how these athletes represented our team!

To our gymnasts: Remember that while a trophy might carry dust, the memories of your hard work last forever. You have truly "raised the bar" (literally! 😉) this season.

Special Shoutout to Lola! Lola was given the incorrect start time for her age group, but the meet directors allowed her to compete with a different age group. And she did an outstanding job! Congratulations to her on an amazing performance despite the schedule error. It takes a special kind of athlete to handle a curveball like that and still deliver a powerhouse performance.

STATE MEET SUCCESS! 🎉 Huge congratulations to all our boys for an outstanding performance at the State Championships. We are so proud of your team spirit and focus! This season has been about more than just medals; it’s been about growth and hard work. As many of you know, it is our first season competing Men's Gymnastics. Watching these boys join a brand-new program and qualify for State and Nationals in their first season is a testament to their dedication to the sport. We are so proud of their achievements this season!

In April, we’ll be looking for athletes with more than just skills - we’re looking for our new best friends! Gymnastics isn’t just about our spend at practice or trying to get the perfect 10. It’s also about the carpools to practice, the inside jokes during conditioning, and the teammates who are the first to cheer you on when you finally get a new skill or give you a hug when the routine doesn’t go as planned.

We believe that strong teams aren’t built on talent - they’re built on trust, laughter and a shared passion for the sport that we love. If you have a positive attitude and a drive to grow, there’s a place for you with SPY Gymnastics.

From those first high beam levers in practice to final routines at the Xcel Bronze State Championships, what a journey it’s been for our Bronze gymnasts this season✨

Looking back at the start of the season, it’s incredible to see how much these athletes have grown. They began the year mastering new skills and overcoming nerves, and they finished it with the confidence of true competitors.

Congratulations to Rutvi and Ellie for qualifying and competing at the 2026 Bronze State Championships! Our coaches couldn't be prouder of the dedication and heart these girls showed on the floor. Watching them support one another and perform their routines after months of hard work is the greatest reward we could ask for. Their growth this season is the greatest victory we could ask for.

A huge thank you to our families for the endless support for our Bronze gymnasts this season. We can’t wait to see where this momentum takes them next! 🏆⭐️

For the final meet of our season, we attend the Girl Power Classic hosted by I-Power Gymnastics in Champaign. Our girls went into this meet with one goal in mind: " Let's show them what we've got!"
