Altrusa is a non-profit organization of business and professional women who have a passion for literacy. She remained a member of Altrusa for over 50 years.
Altrusa International is the oldest women's service organization in the nation, founded in 1917. The Springfield club has been serving our community for more than eighty years, since our founding in 1921. Altrusa clubs exist in all parts of the United States and numerous other countries. 2024 Minority Health Fair under the leadership of Dr. Surender Neravetla was another success. Altrusa gave out at least 60-70 books!!!! Thank you volunteers
