Schedule:

Friday, October 7th:

7:00pm-9:00pm Alumni and Brothers will be meeting at Cecil and Lime (227 E. Cecil St.) for food and cocktails for everyone who is in town on Friday

Saturday, October 8th:

10:00am-1:00pm Gathering at 809 North Fountain Ave for catered food and a bring your own beverage (21+) event. Feel free to bring any and all Delta Sig items that you would like to share with current and Alumni brothers (Year books, Pictures, etc.)

1:00pm Wittenberg Football game vs. DePauw

4:00pm - ?? Join the current brothers of the Beta Iota chapter at 916 Woodlawn Ave (Across from Tower Hall) for an Open House where burgers, hotdogs, and other snacks will be provided. You will be able to interact with the current Brothers in our current Chapter House.

Shout out to our Sigs on the football team playing this Saturday! Homecoming game against DePauw tomorrow at 1pm at The Edward-Maurer Field! Good luck to Brothers Thornton 46, Kissane 43, and Hoffman 69!

We would like to thank everyone who donated to our Relay for Life team for their support. We raised $815 as a team and the event itself totaled over $6,000! We greatly appreciate the continued generosity of our alumni, friends, and family.

PSA: It looks like we may have some rain this weekend. The Beta Iota Chapter still plans to have our homecoming tent at 809 N Fountain where the old sig house once was. The tent is fairly large and we hope that it will work for inclement weather. If this does not work out, we will move to 916 Woodlawn Avenue. This is a last resort and we do not plan for this to happen but we just wanted to address any concerns some may have about the weather.

We are very proud to announce that the we have officially changed from colony status to being recognized as a CHAPTER of Delta Sigma Phi. This past Saturday Beta Iota held its official chartering ceremony here at Wittenberg University. We were very lucky to have many distinguished guests with us including Grand Council President Tom Cycota. This has been a giant leap forward in the growth of the Beta Iota Chapter and we are extremely excited to continue on the legacy of this great chapter for years to come. We can't wait to see everyone at Homecoming!

The SIGS are almost through with the second week of school here at Witt and time already seems to be moving quickly. Fall rush starts next week and before we know it homecoming will be upon us. We are looking forward to seeing Wittenberg flooded with Beta Iota alums! That being said, we are still working on compiling contact lists to try and get the word out! Any help from the alumni by sharing this page or the chapter website would be greatly appreciated. The chapter, in coordination with the ACB, continues to work to coordinate event details to make the best possible return to campus for all of our alums.
