The Springfield College Center for Leadership and Civic Engagement are leading summer programming that assists with community needs. Most recently, in partnership with the Northeast Organic Farming Association and Sister Anna Muhammad, the Center hosted a community gardening event where surrounding neighbors could learn how to grow and harvest fresh produce while having the opportunity to take home some samples as well.

Center for Service and Leadership Director Charlene Elvers was recognized at the 2021 BusinessWest Women of Impact celebration as part of a cohort being recognized for being leaders in our community who have vision, passion, drive to excel, and a desire to put their considerable talents to work mentoring and helping others.

Our Homework Heroes program is currently accepting new students to be a part of an "on-call" waitlist to reserve a tutor! We operate on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Being a part of the waitlist would mean that if there is an opening in the program, our Graduate Associate would contact you and your student to offer a tutoring appointment the day of.

Homework Heroes is a homework help program where students can log on to Zoom and work one on one with a college student. We can help with school assignments, projects, and also help develop reading, writing, and math skills!

Our program will end on April 29, 2021 for the school year.
