Juneteenth is a time to honor freedom, reflect on history, and celebrate resilience, culture, and progress. As we commemorate this important day, we encourage our school community to take time for unity, education, and reflection.

📚 Juneteenth Fact:
Juneteenth marks June 19, 1865, the day Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, and announced that enslaved African Americans were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.
