The Skill Center in Springfield, Ohio offers training in basic introductory vocational skills to help individuals enter the work force. Roger E.
Boomershine Skill Center is started with the hope of helping individuals gain skills that will enable them to help themselves. With the beginning of the 2014-15 school year the Skill Center has moved to the campus of Oesterlen Services for Youth in Springfield. This is the Sunday group with the purses they finished.

We had a group of about 10 women in today to make purses with Siah. They came from Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia. Another group comes in tomorrow.

Cory finished his flag and took it home today.

Two cutting boards finished up today. First one is a big one, 22x14, 1 1/2 inch thick, with end grain maple and padauk. Second one is good size too, 16x14, 1 1/2 inch thick, made of end grain white oak. Both of them have rubber feet on them so they won’t scratch, and no chance of them sitting in a puddle on the countertop.
