🎒 What exactly IS "Circle Time"? 🤔👇

Have you ever entered into a preschool or daycare to see a room full of kiddos sitting criss-cross applesauce on a giant rug and wondered what they were doing?

It looks like adorable chaos, but it’s actually one of the most powerful learning tools in early childhood education! 🕒✨

Here's whats happening:

👋 The Welcome: Children sing a morning song and greet eachother by name. Making every single friend feel seen, valued, and welcome.

📅 The Daily Routine: Together, they look at the calendar, count the days, and look out the window to chart the weather.

📚 Story & Song: Teachers read books, sing rhyming songs, and use fingerplays to build early literacy and language skills.

🧠 Theme Introduction: This is where the day's main lesson plan drops—whether it's learning about community helpers, insects, or sharing!

The Big Benefits:
It teaches children how to take turns and practice patience.
It builds active listening and social-emotional skills.
It creates a comforting, predictable routine to start the day.
