Kindergarten and 1st grade are learning about plants. After reading the 2026 Show Me Award nominee book, The world’s BEST Class Plant. The classes named their own classroom Spiderplant. Upon hearing the excitement over the class plants, longtime Greenwood educator, Mrs. Nottingham, graciously brought in spiderettes (baby spiderplants) from her home in order that each kindergartener and 1st grader could plant, take home, and care for their very own plant! Thank you Mrs Nottingham for providing all these smiles!
