MONARCH TAGGING & RELEASE EVENT: This Saturday September 24, 2022 at 2 p.m. is the time for the Monarch tagging and release event. Great fun for the kiddos! At the Dr. Bill Roston Native Butterfly House, Springfield Botanical Gardens, 2400 S. Scenic Ave (417.891.1515). FYI if you are new to the monarch butterfly, this last generation is the group that migrates south and then returns in the spring. REMINDER TODAY! GREATER OZARKS HOSTA SOCIETY GUEST SPEAKER AND ICE CREAM SOCIAL SUNDAY SEPT 11, 2022: 2:00 - 4:00PM AT SPRINGFIED BOTANICAL CENTER, 2400 S. Scenic Ave.
SPEAKER: ROB MORTKO 'THE HOSTA GUY' Rob will be talking about 'RED HOT HOSTAS OF TOMORROW'
If you like to MAKE ice cream, there will be taste testers! (Please be able to keep it frozen as there isn't freezer space.) If you prefer to bring a dessert, the taste testers would love that too.
All paper goods: bowls, plates, napkins, eating and serving utensils will be furnished as well as water and iced tea.
NOTE: Not yet a member of the Greater Ozarks Hosta Society? Dues are only $10 per year. Please contact JJ Averett to join us.
