Exciting opportunity to see an important contemporary poet!
The Reynolds College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities at Missouri State University cordially invites you to a poetry reading by award-winning author Taylor Byas.
This event, sponsored by the Department of English, will feature Taylor's collection, "I Done Clicked My Heels Three Times," which received the 2023 Maya Angelou Book Award.
Established in 2020 to commemorate the legacy of Missouri-born author Maya Angelou, the Maya Angelou Book Award acknowledges outstanding literary works by contemporary authors. These works exemplify dedication to social justice and contribute to the diversification of contemporary American literature.
