Our Phlebotomy students at MTI in Springfield, MO recently participated in Pizza for Pokes, a fun event that helps students gain the hands-on experience they need to succeed in the field! ๐
Students practiced blood draws on fellow students, staff, family, and friends, helping them build confidence and work toward the successful sticks required to complete the program. In return, participants enjoyed pizza and snacks while supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals. ๐ฅ๐

Our Industrial, Commercial & Residential Electrician (ICR) students and staff came together to celebrate National Electrician Day (June 10th) with a fun taco bar lunch at MTI Springfield, Missouri! ๐๐ฎ๐
From learning electrical theory and wiring techniques to building hands-on skills in the lab, our students work hard every day preparing for successful careers in the electrical trade.
National Electrician Day was the perfect opportunity to recognize their dedication, celebrate their progress, and enjoy some well-earned time together. โก๐๐ก

โก๐ง๐ Congrats to David Gramajo from Carthage High School, winner of a $2,000 scholarship to MTIโs Industrial, Commercial, and Residential Electrician Program in Springfield, MO! ๐๐งโก
David has big goals for his future in the electrical industry. After completing MTIโs electrician program, he hopes to gain experience in the field, advance through the ranks, and eventually work toward becoming a master electrician. His long-term vision reflects both ambition and a commitment to continuous growth. ๐ชโก
One of Davidโs greatest inspirations has been his father, who works as an electrician. Watching his dad build a career in the trade and travel to different places for work sparked Davidโs interest in following a similar path. The opportunity to work with his hands while building a stable and rewarding career is what excites him most about the electrical field. ๐โจ
Throughout high school, David discovered his ability to be a leader. Through his involvement in FFA, where he served as chapter treasurer and participated in public speaking events, he developed confidence, communication skills, and leadership experience that will benefit him throughout his career.
David also credits Mrs. Noblet for helping him find his direction. When he was unsure about what career path to pursue, she took the time to learn about his interests, helped connect him with opportunities, and ultimately guided him toward a future in the skilled trades. Her support played an important role in helping him find the path that fits him best. ๐
With this scholarship, David is one step closer to building the future he envisions in the electrical industry and pursuing the goals he has worked hard to achieve. ๐

For Maddilynn, cosmetology is about much more than hair and beauty, it's about helping people feel confident in themselves. She believes that how people feel about their appearance can have a major impact on their confidence and outlook, and she is passionate about helping others feel their best through her work. ๐
Cosmetology has been part of Maddilynnโs life for as long as she can remember. Growing up around family members who worked as hairstylists, she developed an early appreciation for the profession. ๐ง๐ฅ๐ Congrats to Cayden Horton from Ozark High School, winner of a $2,000 scholarship to MTIโs Welding Program in Springfield, MO! ๐๐ฅ๐ง
Caydenโs passion for welding has been fueled by every opportunity heโs had to get his hands on a welder and learn something new. From attending MTI career nights to practicing stick welding, repairing his own vehicleโs exhaust, and building projects from the ground up, he has embraced every chance to develop his skills and gain experience in the trade. ๐ช
โจ๐ What drew Cayden to MTI was the welcoming environment, supportive instructors, and hands-on learning opportunities. He shared how much he enjoys visiting campus, meeting students, and getting time in the welding lab. For Cayden, welding is more than just a career path, itโs something he genuinely enjoys doing and wants to continue improving at every chance he gets. ๐โจ
Outside of welding, Cayden stays busy in his school's auto tech program, where he works on vehicles and learns valuable mechanical skills. Heโs also built his own subwoofer enclosure and wired it himself, showing the same hands-on mindset and problem-solving abilities that make him a natural fit for the skilled trades. ๐๐
This scholarship will help ease the financial burden of pursuing his education and allow him to focus on building the future heโs working toward. With determination, curiosity, and a willingness to learn, Cayden is already laying the foundation for a successful career in welding. ๐

Dr. Knapton shared insights into his holistic-based dental practice, which focuses on more than just treating symptoms. His approach emphasizes identifying and addressing the root causes of dental issues while considering a patient's overall health and wellness. ๐ฟ๐

Our Welding students from MTI's Springfield, MO campus recently had the opportunity to put their skills into action during a field trip to Republic and Clever, Missouri. ๐
Students gained valuable hands-on experience by assisting their instructors with a variety of real-world projects, including cutting, measuring, grinding, and even welding rails in residential areas!
These experiences allowed them to apply the techniques they've been learning in class while gaining insight into the day-to-day work of professional welders. โก
