It was an exciting night last night at Fenway Park as our Men's Volleyball Championship Team was honored and Head Coach Charlie Sullivan '91 G'97 threw out the first pitch! Making it even more special is the many members of the Class of 2026 who were in attendance as part of their Senior Week celebration. Congratulations to all!

James "Zach" Zachazewski '77 visited campus earlier this week to attend the annual Athletic Training Department Research Symposium and Awards Ceremony.

It was a night to celebrate the Springfield College Athletic Training Program's legacy of excellence, our current students, the graduating Class of 2026, and honor Zachazewski with the 2026 Charles J. Redmond Distinguished Alumni Award.

Springfield College Track & Field alumni and families gathered on Cooper Terrace to watch the Division III New England Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted at Springfield College on May 2. Legendary former track & field head coach Ken Klatka '69, G'70, Springfield College Athletics Hall of Fame track & field athlete Michael "Spider" Brown '80, and current Men's and Women's Track & Field Head Coach Mike Miller '08, G'12, helped welcome all back to campus.

It was a special day at Springfield College yesterday as we celebrated the 100th Stepping Up Day! Stepping Up Day stems from the tradition of ending any rivalries between classes and symbolizes having classes "step up" to celebrate their next milestone at Springfield College. Stepping Up Day also marks the official welcoming of the senior class, the class of 2026, into the Alumni Association. A special thanks to our class presidents for their participation - Jason McGowan '26, Stephanie Sutherland '27, Alec Royster '28 and Reese Doyon '29.

In addition, the 2026-27 SGA president and class presidents were officially sworn in by Slandie Dieujuste PhD, Vice President for Campus Life and Community Engagement. Sebastian Ortega Gutierrez was the recognized as the recipient of the Molly Gorman Bourne '05 Scholarship Award. Congratulations to all!
