Ozarks Tech 🤝 Missouri Sheriffs' Association
We’re teaming up to offer a Basic Peace Officer Academy at Ozarks Tech Richwood Valley Campus. This 700-hour program is designed to recruit and train new law enforcement officers from Christian, Stone and Taney counties.
Courses are taught by MSA instructors, and participants will earn college credit from Ozarks Tech.

🌱Ag students are learning the plant growth cycle from seed to harvest at Ozarks Tech Richwood Valley Campus.
Under the guidance of agriculture instructor Dawn Broos, students are transplanting crops such as chard and lettuce—started this spring under grow lights in the hydroponics lab—into the Fresh Harvest garden.
As part of the Fresh Harvest program, students will tend the garden throughout the summer, helping provide free, fresh produce for the Ozarks Tech community starting on Wednesday, June 24 on the Springfield campus.

💙A century-long legacy built by the Carr family—longstanding leaders in regional manufacturing—continues to create opportunities for Ozarks Tech students.
The college is proud to announce a six-figure gift from the Carr family of The Durham Company to support the new Michael L. Parson Student Union, opening in August 2026. The gift will establish the George T. and Vesta Carr Event Center, a premier space dedicated to education and workforce training.
With this investment, the Carr family carries forward the vision George T. and Vesta set in motion generations ago.
