Lots of activity in the Archives this week! Library staff members John, Hannah, and Elizabeth pitched in to help College Archivist Jeff Monseau, professor emeritus Kathy Post, and former VP for Academic Affairs Jean Wyld sort through many (many!) boxes of documents, photos, and other items from the Health Sciences Center. As the Springfield College campus prepares for the opening of our brand new Health Sciences building, it's fun to look back at these memories from the "old" building!

Frank Wolcott, Springfield College's renowned gymnastics coach, visited campus this past weekend to meet with College Archivist Jeff Monseau. They enjoyed lunch at Cheney Dining Hall along with Frank's wife, Sandy, and some close friends. Over the years, Coach Wolcott has donated a large collection of his papers to the College Archives, and during this visit he shared six additional scrapbooks that document his storied career of coaching and gymnastics through photographs, letters, and other materials that showcase his unique perspective.
