Work has begun on the new dental clinic at the Health Center at Springfield High!

Scheduled to be finished by September, the clinic will give students access to dental care and follow-up services right on campus and eliminate barriers like transportation or scheduling.

The project is funded through a grant from the Ohio Department of Health, which also helped to launch mobile dental and vision services for SCSD students earlier this year. Starting next school year, those services will be available districtwide, expanding access to care for students across the district.

Every milestone matters.

For many of our students, those milestones are made possible by the caring adults in our buildings who support them every day.

The Springfield City School District is currently hiring for Paraprofessionals to help students learn, grow, and succeed in the classroom. From providing one-on-one support and assisting with classroom activities to encouraging independence and celebrating achievements, paraprofessionals play a vital role in helping students reach their goals.

If you're passionate about making a difference and building meaningful connections with students, we'd love to have you on our Wildcat team!

We're also hiring:
⭐ Intervention Specialists
⭐ School Psychologists
⭐ Speech-Language Pathologists

Getting ready for kindergarten is a big step, and earlier this month, families had the opportunity to prepare together at the Early Childhood Kiddie Camp at Clark Preschool. 💙📚

Students entering kindergarten participated in activities alongside their families to become more familiar with their upcoming school experience.

We look forward to welcoming our newest Wildcats this fall!

Week two of the SCSD Summer Program is officially underway! ☀️💙

After wrapping up last week's production of The Frog Prince, campers are jumping into a new week of hands-on activities and learning opportunities.

Students split into two groups to work on different projects. One group designed and sketched water-balloon catchers, while the other created crafts such as picture frames, Perler bead projects, graduation caps and Q-tip bow and arrows.

These activities give students the opportunity to be creative, work together and learn new skills while enjoying their summer.

There are multiple food programs throughout the mont of July, be sure to check them out! We are grateful to the staff and community partners who help make this important program possible for local families. 💙

This week, summer campers at the Dome made Princess Tiana's famous beignets from Princess and The Frog! 👑🐸

They also made dioramas of their dreams (not pictured) to represent a scene from Princess and The Frog. These dioramas included houses, businesses, and more!

These activities lead up to their production of Princess and The Frog on Friday, put on by Missoula Children's Theater! 🎭 Break a leg, campers!
