What a day for the Parkview Debate team! We competed for almost 11 hours at the district Congress tournament and added 2 more national qualifiers in the House of Representatives!! Alec Rosa and Nicole Castillejos will be joining Lily in Richmond, VA this June!! Now to get ready for state in 2 weeks!!

It took parts of 4 days, but for the first time in a long time, we have a national qualifier in March! Lily Brozovich finished 2nd in Big Questions Debate qualifying to the national tournament in Richmond, VA this June!! Now to rest up over spring break and then get ready to host our district qualifier in Congress where we'll look to add more qualifiers.

We have state qualifiers!!!! Parkview survived the storms and delays and qualified 3 students with 6 entries to the state tournament!

Nicole Castillejos TRIPLE qualified finishing 3rd in Humorous Interpretation, 6th in United States Extemporaneous Speaking, and 8th in Storytelling

Alec Rosa DOUBLED qualified placing 5th in both Radio Speaking and Informative Speaking

Jasmine Dooley placed 4th in Radio Speaking qualifying to the state as a FRESHMAN

Taraji Porter Semifinalist in Original Oratory and United States Extemporaneous Speaking

Lily Brozovich Semifinalist in Poetry Reading and United States Extemporaneous Speaking
