🎉 BIG NEWS from Mrs. Pace's kindergarten classroom! 🎉

We have officially hit a major math milestone! A HUGE congratulations to Khloe Victor for being the very first kindergartener in Mrs. Pace's class to master her math fact check and count all the way to 100! 💯🌟

Counting to 100 takes so much focus, determination, and practice, and we are so proud of her hard work. She set a wonderful example for all of her classmates!

🍞🐵 Learning is sweeter when we do it together!

Our ACS students joined up with PSI for a fun (and delicious!) hands-on activity—making Monkey Bread and sharing it together! ❤️

It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to work together, build connections, and enjoy the results of their teamwork. Judging by these pictures, the Monkey Bread was definitely a hit! 😋

🌦️ Weather Watchers in 4th Grade! 🌧️☀️

Our 4th graders had a special visit from meteorologist Jonathan Myers! Students had the opportunity to learn more about the water cycle, weather instruments, and what it’s really like to be a meteorologist. 🌡️💨🌧️

🌟 Shine Bright with Respect! 🌟

One of our character traits that we practice at SES is showing RESPECT!

Congratulations to these students who were selected by teachers as "Students of the Month" for showing RESPECT!

Being respectful means treating others the way you want to be treated—with kindness, fairness, and care. Here are a few easy ways our students can show respect every day:

✨ Listen Care-fully: Give your full attention when teachers, classmates, or parents are speaking.

✨ Use Kind Words: Say "please," "thank you," and "excuse me." Words have power!

✨ Take Care of Things: Clean up your desk, handle school supplies gently, and help keep our playground clean.

✨ Include Everyone: Wave hello, invite someone new to play at recess, and celebrate what makes each of us unique!

When we show respect, we make our school a happy and safe place for everyone to learn and grow.

Way to go, Bulldogs!

🏕️📚 Reading Campout was an adventure to remember! 📚🏕️

What an amazing evening of reading, exploring, and making memories together! ❤️🐾 Our Bulldog families traveled through our Reading Campout, stopping along the way for fun literacy activities, flashlight reading, and plenty of family time.

A HUGE thank you to all of our families who joined us and to our wonderful staff who helped make this special night possible! We loved seeing our students excited about books and sharing the joy of reading with the people they love most. 📖✨

🧮 Learning is more fun with snacks! 🍎✨

Students in Mrs. Knight’s 3rd grade class practiced their multiplication and addition skills by visiting the Multiplication Snack Store! 🛍️

With a budget in hand, students built their own snack bags while using math to calculate their totals. They were learning, problem-solving, and having a little fun along the way! 🎉

Math + snacks = a winning combination! 😋➕✖️
