Since the next FOUR (!!!) full Moons will be Supermoons, we wanted to lend a little nerd knowledge before the big events! 🤓 The "Broad Definition" of a Supermoon is: a new or full moon that occurs when the Moon is closest to Earth, making it appear absolutely enormous 🥮
HOWEVER, the more "Strict Definition" is: the SINGLE closest new moon and full moon of the year. By this definition, there can be only two Supermoons each year. But that definition is way less fun, because 4 Supermoons are obviously way better than 2 Supermoons!! Dig into the astronomy and science here 🥮🥮🥮 Almanac.com/What-Supermoon
