This year the attendance team was able to take our students on 3 different field trips!
We went to the movies for perfect attendance for the first semester and for students that missed 5 days or fewer for the whole school year!
And we were able to take our perfect (1 or fewer days missed) attendance students to the zoo for a day!

This morning the Valley View staff had a wonderful breakfast retirement celebration for our four retirees; Cherryl Lambdin, Sue Goins, Kelly Blanchard, and Bill Hood. We will miss these faces around our school next year. ❤️ Congratulations on your retirement!

All three Kindergarten classes celebrated a fantastic school year with an end of the year party today. Treats, games, and prizes were all part of the event. Fun was had by all! ❤️🎉🥳

Miss Silver‘s fifth grade class hosted a “writing celebration open house” to show off their work from their final writing workshop of the year. They had quite a few visitors to the room today to hear these impressive opinion pieces. 📝📝
Valley View has had a strong push in improving our writing skills over the last couple of years, we are excited to see the growth from all of our students in writing!

We had some extra special visitors during field day today!
Thank you Critchlow's Alligator Sanctuary for your visit! Bryce was so fun and knowledgeable and Sweatpea (the alligator) was the sweetest!

Mr. Sedlecky prepared all Valley View students for the spring concert yesterday. We heard beautiful singing from all grades and a recorder performance from 3rd grade. Great work, Bearcats! 🎶🎶
