📸 PICTURE DAY UPDATE! 📸

Picture Day has been rescheduled to this Friday, September 4!

Picture Day was previously listed on the Calvary Academy calendar for Thursday, September 3. We are excited to partner with Inter-State Studios, a photography company with an excellent reputation among private schools throughout Central Illinois. Due to their availability, we needed to move our Picture Day to Friday.

𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗗𝗢𝗪𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗣𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬!
Students may be out of uniform this Friday for Picture Day - no Dress Down Day fee will be collected. Please remember that all students must still follow Calvary Academy’s appropriate dress code guidelines.

Celebrating 15 Years of Mrs. Brooklyn Harnacke!

Mrs. Harnacke has made an impact across so many areas of our school. She teaches PE to all Calvary Academy students and other classes in the junior high & high school and spent many years pouring into our athletes as a volleyball coach.

She has encouraged students to work hard, be part of a team, challenge themselves, and have a little fun along the way!

But her influence on our Calvary family goes far beyond the classroom and the court.

Through the years, Mrs. Harnacke has walked through some difficult seasons of her own. We have watched her face those challenges with strength, courage, and a beautiful faith in God—and in doing so, she has strengthened the faith of so many around her. Her life has been a testimony to our students, staff, and families that we can trust God even when the road is difficult.

That is the kind of influence that lasts far beyond the years spent in a classroom or on a court.

For 15 years, Mrs. Harnacke has invested in our students, encouraged our athletes, supported our school, and helped make Calvary Academy the special place it is. We are so thankful for the energy, dedication, strength, and faith she brings to our Saints family.

Congratulations on 15 incredible years, Coach! We are blessed to have you at Calvary Academy!

Celebrating 5 Years of Mrs. Jessica Smith!

As we begin a new school year, we’re celebrating someone who has played an important role in making Calvary Academy the school it is today!

This year marks 5 years at Calvary Academy for Mrs. Jessica Smith, our Principal!

Mrs. Smith leads with a heart for students, a commitment to excellence, and a genuine desire to see our school community thrive. From supporting teachers and encouraging students to partnering with families and helping lead our school forward, she brings so much to Calvary Academy every day.

Five years is worth celebrating—but even more than the number, we’re thankful for the impact she has made during those years.

We are blessed to have Mrs. Smith leading our Saints family! Thank you for all you do for Calvary Academy, Mrs. Smith!

NEW ACADEMY OFFICE HOURS

Beginning Tuesday, September 1, Calvary Academy’s school office hours will be:

🕢 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

These hours better align with our school day and will help us serve our families more effectively.

One of our little Saints is up for YOUTH ATHLETE OF THE YEAR! Brodie Phillips is in a Youth Athlete of the Year competition and his story about still playing sports with Type 1 Diabetes is being told! He could use some extra votes to keep him going! You can vote daily for free or donate to a charity on behalf of Brodie to get him more votes.

Our special “mail” station is set up in the Academy Office, and we’d love for you to stop by and write a note for your student.

Parents can stop by today, Thursday, or Friday morning before 8:30 AM.
