Bird Club for Pet Birds-meeting 3rd Saturday of every month at the Library Center on S. Campbell. We are bird lovers who want to learn more about our birds.

We want to educate ourselves and others in good bird husbandry, so they can live a long and healthy life.

This is the Gravois Cove at Lake of the Ozarks. The pelicans stop here twice a year to rest on their migration. Love looking at them as I drive by.

This Ringneck was seen at the McDonald's near me, Republic Road and West Bypass.
Did anyone lose their parrot?
Apparently, it's been hanging around this part of town for about a month. Read the comments...

UPDATE: This is thought to be the same bird that multiple people were trying to catch near the walmart on sunshine/
West bypass.

I feel kind of silly posting this but someone's parakeet is out here at McDonald's off Republic Rd and West By Pass. Slim chance of it being here later but...
No I didn't attempt to catch it.

We have made the decision to postpone meetings for the rest of 2020. The Library Center is not allowing outside meetings through the end of the year. Watch your email for an informal Zoom get together in October. Fingers crossed, we will resume meeting in January of 2021.
