Spartan Choir Fall Concert is Wednesday, October 26 at 7pm in the Auditorium. Come and hear all 4 Choirs!

I want to let you all know that tonight the parking situation will be a little wild. There is a District Track meet here at the same time as our concert. You may want to consider parking by door 12. Door 12 is located by the OLD front of the school - the doors that are by the “kiss and ride” lane off of Rolling. Door 12 will be unlocked. You just walk straight down the hallway and the auditorium will be on your left.



Students – Meet in the AUDITORIUM at 6:00 PM.



Families – Doors will open at 6:45 – concessions can be dropped off at the ticket booth.



Admission – is FREE (in the past this has been a ticked event. “All That Jazz” was a fundraiser and student participation was optional. If you would still like to financially support our program the CPA will gladly take your donations at intermission.)



This concert will be video recorded.

Program for District Choir

Friends our performing and fine arts programs are in jeopardy here in NOVA. Please read and add your input. The arts are so important to many students who need a different outlet for showing their talents! Not all students are good in academics, they need another outlet in which to shine. It is proven that the arts increase learning and reduce stress in students.

We were delighted to have Bob Shafer come work with our students on the Duruflé Requiem in class yesterday. The students sounded great and worked at a lightening fast pace. We are grateful to Mr. Shafer for giving us his time to work with us on a piece he is so passionate about, and we are thankful for the opportunity to work with him in such an intimate setting. In addition to the Requirm Mass the Madrigals will be performing four of their own pieces with the City Choir of Washington next Sunday at 5:00 PM.
