Veritas Prep Charter School

Putting every student on a path to college!

Veritas Prep charter school was founded in the belief that all students are entitled to a high quality public education. We provide a structured, positive and safe middle school where student achievement comes first. Veritas Prep opened in the 2012-2013 school year with 81 fifth graders and will enroll a fifth grade each year, eventually serving up to 324 students in grades 5 - 8. Visit us online at to find out more about enrollment and job opportunities.

Mission: Preparing students in grades 5 - 8 to compete, achieve, and succeed in high school, college and beyond.

Help stop the spread.

Park Rangers from Springfield Armory came to 5th grade to do a presentation about Shay's Rebellion-- which happened right here in Springfield in 1786. Scholars have been learning about the formation of our government after the American Revolution in History class. As a part of the program scholars "became" a person from US history and learned about their role in Shay's Rebellion. They then worked in groups and participated in a mock trial in order to determine who was most at fault for this rebellion: the farmers, the state government officials or the federal government officials and the founding fathers. #edthataddsup #history #springfield #parkrangers
