We can’t wait!! 🎳

Last week, our girls learned two powerful lessons all about connection and community. 💫

First, they explored what it means to Be an Includer—noticing when someone might feel left out and choosing to make them feel welcomed, valued, and seen. To bring this to life, the girls created constellations using stickers, adding one after each lap they completed. 🌟

As their posters filled up, beautiful constellations began to form—showing how something amazing happens when everyone is included. The girls reflected on what those constellations would look like if someone had been left out, and how including others makes the journey more meaningful (and a little easier, too!).

They also shared moments when they’ve included others—or been included themselves—and talked about simple ways to look around, notice others, and be a friend. 💗

The second lesson focused on Mapping Our Community. The girls explored how they are part of both their team and a larger community. Together, they created posters filled with people, places, and things that make their community special.

They discovered that everyone—and everything—has value and brings their own unique Star Power to the world. ✨

We are SO excited for our annual Family Fun Night THIS FRIDAY!! 🎟️ We are so thankful for the donations we have received for the raffle baskets! If you still have a donation, please drop off by the end of the day Thursday!

Last week, our girls focused on the power of friendship 💗✨

They learned that they have the power to choose a friend—and to be a friend who helps others’ Star Power shine 🌟 Together, we explored the qualities of a healthy friendship and how choosing supportive, kind friends helps them feel confident and free to be themselves.

Through a fun scavenger hunt, the girls symbolized what it means to “search” for the right friends, and during their workout, they practiced the Stop and Take a Breather strategy to make thoughtful, positive choices.

We also had an important conversation: it’s okay to step away from friendships that bring you down. While it can feel scary, choosing yourself and your well-being is always the right choice 💛

These lessons don’t just help them build new friendships—they strengthen the ones they already have, too 🌈

Delaware families with littles, don't miss out!!

We hope you are all having a fun and restful winter break! It is time for our annual Soup Lunch for the teachers and staff. Believe it or not, getting students back into routine after 2 weeks off is not an easy task! So to show our appreciation, we give our teachers & staff a cozy soup lunch. This year it will be on Friday, January 9th. Items must be dropped off in the office no later than 10am. Below is a link to sign up! If making a crockpot of soup isn't your thing, there are other options like drinks, bread, crackers, desserts, etc. We would really appreciate any help!
