I teach piano with emphasis on note-reading, playing expressively, with healthy technique, as well as ear-training, problem solving, and motor skills.

I have been teaching piano for 10+ years to students as young as 3 and as old as 70. I have worked with individuals with dyslexia and vision impairments and am open to other teaching individuals with other difficulties. I have a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy from Missouri State University. I am a very nurturing individual and work well with children

Phillip George started taking piano lessons a few months ago. He's shown a lot of persistence and musical growth over a very short time. Here he is playing Mighty Avalanche by Randall Hartsell.

Note-Reading 07/31/2017
