Victory Quilting and Needleworks -by Michelle Vincent

Last night Christian, Daniel, and James earned their respective Catholic Scouting Awards! (Isaac is an inbetween year and isn’t eligible until next year).

🏆Our solar panels took a beating in yesterday’s storm. We’ve been working on clean up, time to turn on the Longarm and make sure it’s functioning properly. All the people and animals came out safe!

🏆Success! Continuing education, building my pattern library, and new skills unlocked!! Thank you Joan Knight and Southern Belles!

🏆I’m still away at training! Here’s a group photo, a prize I won, and the quilt I finished at night in my hotel room! I kept a tally of new things I have learned and I’m up to 15! Tomorrow is the last day of class, it has all zoomed by, I can’t wait to get back to my machine and use my new knowledge!

🏆Southern Belle mini quilt challenge contestants! Our prompt was a 20 inch mini quilt involving a star. Which one would you vote on? We find out the winner tonight! I do not have a quilt in this competition.

🏆Today’s Southern Belle adventures kicked off with touring quilt shops around Little Rock, some really great spring rolls, a shoe sale that set me up for years, and the official kick off of the classes. I’ve run into several friends I only get to see here. Tomorrow the real learning begins and this year is all about stars!⭐️

🏆Set up for some hotel sewing while I wait for my classes to start tomorrow! I’m sew grateful to be attending my 4th Southern Belle quilt retreat and can’t wait to learn more tricks for Longarm quilting!

🏆 Kinzi found these hand embroidered pieces in her mother’s keepsake box. She had completed them 30 years ago! Kinzi had me turn them into this quilt full of vintage goodness for Christmas! Peep the quilt label completed on the Longarm!
