Hello Pre-Law Students,
Are you ready to take the next big step in law school? We are thrilled to invite you to an exclusive Pre-Law Workshop that could help you achieve your law school dreams. We held a similar event last spring, and it was a huge success, with attendees walking away feeling more confident and prepared. We are bringing it back by popular demand, so do not miss out.
Event: Pre-Law Workshop: Drafting Law School Application Personal Statements
Date: Monday, November 11th
Time: 5 pm to 6 pm
Location: UIS PAC Room 155
Why should you attend? Crafting a standout personal statement is key to differentiating yourself in the highly competitive law school admissions process. This workshop will offer practical tips on how to tell your story, highlight your strengths, and avoid common pitfalls. Whether you are just starting or refining your statement, this session will provide expert guidance to help you create a powerful narrative that resonates with admissions committees. Plus, enjoy free pizza and drinks as you learn!
We have a Zoom link for our online students who cannot join us in person. RSVP to [email protected] for the Zoom link.
To sign up for this event, please reply to this email with your full name, UIN, and program and whether you will attend in person or online.
Mark your calendars and join us for an event that could set you on the path to law school success.

The UIS Mock Trial and Model United Nations teams need your help! Both teams travel throughout the semester, getting hands on experience as attorneys, witnesses, and diplomats. Through these two clubs, students are afforded opportunities that would never be possible to them outside of the clubs. If you want to financially support either team, visit the links below. Donations go toward registration fees and travel expenses for these wonderfully talented students!
