Good news this morning. My new book published on Amazon, Wings of a Color: The Diary of Amaya and Her Pet Chicken. I wanted to get teachers excited to work with kids on multilingual diaries to grow their literacy in all of their languages. There is a Spanish glossary at the end and advice for getting started with multi-language diaries. IELT-Ozarks is wrapping up with the official final date of August 31, 2022. We have concluded this project fully successfully over six years (2016-2022). Our work continues with Show Me Multiliteracy (2021-2026). Thank you for those of you who have rejoined us there. If you haven't yet, please come on over. We have so much to offer. We are excited to share that we are now accepting applications for the new grant program: Show Me Multiliteracy! Prescreening applications are due by Feb 11, 2022.

We are partnering with the following school districts for this program: Springfield, Monett, Neosho, Branson, Kansas City, and North Kansas City.

Are a licensed teacher in the state of Missouri
Are Currently employed in our partner districts
Have EL students in classes
Have motivation to engage with community organizations
Are committed to completing the EL endorsement
Collaborate (or want to) with EL specialists in the region
