🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Advising Forum on December 5th, titled "Mindful of Neurodiversity," featuring Dr. April Phillips, Director of the Missouri State Bear POWER program. This event is hosted in collaboration with the Missouri Academic Advising Association (MACADA).
We are eager to engage and learn alongside advising professionals from across the state. Join us for a valuable opportunity to enhance our understanding of neurodiversity in academic advising!
We are so excited to announce our December Munch ‘n MACADA presentation on December 5th from 12pm-1pm, hosted in collaboration with the Missouri State University Academic Advising and Transfer Center.
This one-hour session titled “Mindful of Neurodiversity” and presented by Dr. April Phillips, director of the Bear POWER program, will discuss:
-what neurodiversity is
-examples of supports on campus
-the Bear POWER program
-and how advisors can best support others who are neurodiverse.
