It’s hard to believe I started teaching yoga on this day 8 years ago. My practice and teaching style has continued to evolve over the years..but my love for yoga and all of my students over the years..remains strong. I haven’t been teaching since the wonderful studio I was at closed down due to the Pandemic…and I was okay with the break. I am now missing teaching, my students and community.. and excited to see what the future has in store for me💗

Every night at bedtime for the last few months my son Keston who is 10 asks me “How was your day? On a scale of 1-10 how was your day?” My answer is usually “good” and usually the rating is somewhere around an 8-8.5…a couple days were a 9. Then he asks “Why not a 10?” What a great question! It’s something I’ve really been asking myself. Why not a 10?? I am ultimately in charge of my day/schedule/my own happiness… so why isn’t my day a 10/10 and what can I do to make it a 10?
What can you do to make your day a 10/10?
Just something to contemplate😉

I’ve been asked by a few of my Canadian friends (old students) for online classes. I know some of my students here have been missing them too. I thought it might be fun to teach one next week and go from there. I’m thinking maybe Wednesday morning maybe?!?Leaning towards a Gentle Vinyasa. If you are interested..comment or PM me so I can add you to a list. Let me know what days and times work best for you. Also please tag anyone you think might be interested 🙏

Setting intentions for 2021! While 2020 has been challenging in many ways..it has also brought a lot of good. High on my gratitude list is all of the extra time with our kids being home most of the year...that we would have never normally got with them.
I’m looking forward to the New Year and hoping it brings us all together again. Missing my friends, family and students!💗

Yesterday we said goodbye...to a studio that was loved and felt like home to many. Heather shared my goodbye message on Mudra’s site last week..but I wanted to share it here as well..

I knew from the very first time I stepped into Mudra to check out the studio, and met Heather..that I wanted to teach there one day.

I want to say thank you to every student that has ever shared their practice with me at the Mudra studio these last couple years, as well as virtually through Mudra these last few months.

Thank you to all of the other teachers at Mudra..we have all truly been a team..and it has always been easy to get classes covered when needed. Much appreciated!

And to Heather...thank you! Thank you for being such a joy to work for. Your love for the studio and for our students shines through you! Thank you for always showing appreciation to us as teachers. And as you sent your difficult closing email..thank you for staying positive and uplifting. Wishing you the best in all your future endeavors!
