On Thursday night, Witt EDUC students had the opportunity to participate in Lagonda School’s STEM and Literacy Night. Phonics, ELA, Math, and Science Methods, students interacted with families through hands-on activities and passed out materials for continued learning at home. McKenna Clark ‘26, Savannah LaMar ‘26, and Charity Perry ’25 recently earned scholarships through the $1.2 million continuing grant from the National Science Foundation’s Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program specifically designed to address the large shortage of high school STEM educators across the nation. The Wittenberg University Student Education Association collaborated with the Hagen Center for a Service on the Stoop to benefit Crayons to Classrooms, a local organization helping to equip classrooms with school supplies. They made dozens of pocket hearts and paper journals for local students. Be sure to follow for notifications on their upcoming events!

Witt was awarded NSF's Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program to recruit math and science majors to become teachers in high-needs schools. The ASCENT-STEM Teacher Scholarship, which is approximately $20,000 annually, is awarded to juniors and seniors. Please contact Dr. Daiga or the Witt Admissions Office for more details and eligibility requirements.
