This human pyramid was no easy feat, but these students were ready to take on the challenge and show off their Cougar pride! 🙌 🐾

From teamwork and trust to a whole lot of school spirit, this throwback is a great reminder of the fun, friendship, and unforgettable memories that come with being a Cougar! 🐾

✈️ NEES | Planting Seeds, Growing Jets! ❤️💛

From tiny plants to beautiful blooms! 🌱🌼❤️💛

Back in May, our Northeastern Elementary Jets got their hands dirty and planted baby plants around campus. When school resumed in August, they were greeted by a colorful surprise—their little plants had grown into beautiful blooms over the summer! 🌿🌸

Their hard work helped make our campus even more beautiful and gave us a fun reminder that great things can grow with a little time and care. 🌱

Jets community, help us celebrate our young gardeners! Drop a 🌼 or ❤️💛 in the comments and let our elementary students know how great their campus looks!

🥏 Something new is taking shape at the old KR! 🌳

Our new 9-hole course is ready for kids, beginners, families and disc golf fans to enjoy!
🚫 CLOSED to the public from 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Monday–Friday. During school hours, the course is reserved for our students, classes and school activities.

🥏 After 4:00 p.m., grab your discs and come play!

A BIG thank-you to Board President Blake Shaffer for helping make this happen, and to the Ricky Wysocki Foundation and LWS Tax & Accounting for their generous donations! 👏💛

🐾 KRHS Athletics | 🎾 Cougar Tennis Serving Up a Great Season! 🤎💛

Last Tuesday, August 25, our Kenton Ridge Girls Tennis team took the court for their first home match of the season against Jonathan Alder! 👏

There were plenty of exciting moments and great competition throughout the evening!

🎾 Varsity players Kylee Holland and Peyton Herzog earned a win in their doubles match.

🎾 Varsity alternate Katherine Buckwalter and Maddie also brought home a doubles victory against Jonathan Alder!

🎾 Our JV team swept their matches! 🥳

While Jonathan Alder came away with the Varsity team win, our Cougars showed determination and competitive spirit in their first home match of the season. We can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store! 🐾🎾

A huge THANK YOU to Scout's Cafe for generously providing the iced coffee for our staff iced coffee bar, helping fuel more than 400 NELSD staff members as we kicked off the 2026–2027 school year.
