Last week was bring your coach to class day!

It was an amazing opportunity for the coaches to see what our guys do outside of the gym. Big thanks to the coaches and teachers for letting us bring them along.

What better way to celebrate the start of Navy vs Airforce week than with a throwback?

This weeks Flat Bill visited Phil Williams, a USNA alumni and NMG manager!

Phil told us about his plans to come back and visit saying, “My Class (1971) is having its 55th Reunion this fall. I will be coming to Annapolis for the Reunion and attending the Tulsa vs Navy football game. In addition, my family gave me an 80th birthday gift - a trip to the army-NAVY football game in NYC!”

Big plans for our alumni! We hope to see him stop by the gym.

6 weeks exams are over, but we are just getting started.

Happy National Gymnastics Day!

Today we are celebrating with photos from the start of NMG to now. Many years of hard work and talent have built this unstoppable team, and there is no way better to celebrate than remembering those who paved the way for us.

LCDR Christopher Tam is a 2008 graduate of USNA.
Receiving awards in 2007 and 2008 for gymnastics.

The photo of him doing his handstand was in Hawaii, and the later photos feature his service related duties in Visakhapatnam, India.
LCDR Tam explained, “ The photos are from me running the PACOM Joint Exercise TIGER TRIUMPH 26 Final Planning Conference with our Indian partners, enhancing our strategic partnership and interoperability with Indian Armed Forces.”

NMG is excited to highlight another alumni, and the amazing things they are doing in the fleet.

LCDR Tam also related his gymnastics experience to his current duties saying, “I know I am not doing any gymnastics moves; but it takes great “flexibility” and administrative gymnastics to successfully plan and execute operations with India.”

Who will Flat Bill visit next?
