Karin Jeffers, Springfield College Alumni and CEO of Clinical & Support Options Inc. spoke to Professor Sheffield & Baran's Strategic Management Classes.

Congratulations to Business Management Seniors Mike Guzman and Liam Coleman for winning awards at this year's Grinspoon event.
In all, Springfield College has 5 students receiving awards this year, along with its annual elevator pitch contestant.
Mike won the Spirit Award for his business - the House of Fitteds, and Liam won the Concept Award for Mailman Media, a business idea he plans to pursue.
The entrepreneurial spirit is in high gear at SC Business!! Well done, Mike and Liam!

Business Management Professors Mark Howard and Saul Valdiviezo joined forces with Professor Gerardo Moreira from Sacred Heart University to present "Crypto Colloquium: Becoming Well-Versed in the Metaverse" to SC students and faculty.
The topics included Crypto Currency, Block Chain, and Bitcoin among other relevant topics.
The event was sponsored by the SC Business Club.
Thanks to these professors for breaking down a complicated aspect of our economy!

Every Spring, Grinspoon Entrepreneurship Initiative sponsors three opportunities for students.
First, if any student has a business up and running, and has received revenue from their business they could be eligible for a Spirit award.
Next, if a student has a business idea – a Concept – and he or she has been working on it and DOES INTEND to pursue it, they could receive a Concept award. EI awards cash prizes to these students to recognize and award their entrepreneurial spirit.
The third opportunity is the Elevator Pitch. There is one student from each member college who pitches a business idea. This is just an idea -- the student is not required to intend to pursue it. For this, the student is awarded a cash gift with the possibility to earn more.
