Now is the time to register for FALL CLASSES!
Dr. Goerndt teaches AGN 343 Forest Measurements and Sampling
He says, "In addition to being a required course for the Natural Resources/Forestry degree and the Forestry Minor, this course is an excellent opportunity for students to spend a lot of time in the woods putting the concepts of forest measurements and assessment into practice. While mathematically based, the course puts all concepts into proper context and teaches students to consistently and reliably obtain usable data from forests for the purpose of direct management, monitoring and prediction of forest attributes. Like I said, aside from the theory, this course puts a heavy emphasis on obtaining field experience in the forest, and is therefore a well-regarded course by the students that take it."
